'The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian' was our first line production for a feature film. The bridge battle sequence was shot near Bovec and the Soča valley in Slovenia. The film crew outnumbered the inhabitants of the area by almost two to one, faced extreme weather conditions but enjoyed fishing in the clear waters of Soča River. The choice of the location was based on its strong visual resemblance to New Zealand. There's a great documentary available on the DVD edition called Big Movie Comes to a Small Town about shooting in Slovenia; a small glimpse is available here.
«Great people, great food, great accommodation, incredible surrounding... we were really really lucky! It was a really warm and welcoming experience!»
