Borgia

The French-German-Czech series, created by Tom Fontana, presents the plots of the infamous family and their fight for power in Renaissance Italy. The third season has been partly shot in Croatia (Dubrovnik, island of Pag and Istria) and in North Italy; in both countries production was serviced by Pakt Media.

For the third and final season of this period TV show, filming took place in Dubrovnik, Pag, Pula, and Gorizia, featuring a significant number of horses, carriages, and elaborate costumes. A notable logistical feat involved transporting horses to the island of Lokrum and constructing temporary stables to accommodate them during filming.
