Der Kroatien-Krimi' ('Split Homicide') is a long-running German crime TV series following the exploits of its fearless female protagonist, the lead inspector of the Split Homicide Unit, and her colleagues. The series is known for engaging plots and stunning scenery featuring its main backdrop, the city of Split and other locations on the Adriatic coast. Season 8, Episode 15, titled 'Scheidung auf Kroatisch' (Divorce Croatian Style), premiered on ARD (Das Erste) in February 2024 and was watched by a record 6.88 million viewers. Remarkably, this project stands as the longest production shot entirely in Croatia, consistently portraying Croatia itself rather than standing in for other countries. Currently filming its ninth consecutive year, the series has utilized a vast array of locations as we helped solve mystery muders all across Croatia including Brač, Šolta, Split, Dubrovnik, Vis, Zadvarje, Makarska, Imotski, Drniš, Šibenik, Zagreb, Trogir, Čiovo, Solin, Ploče, Omiš, and Ogorje.
